Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sweeney McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazuran Riku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lazuran Riku was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sweeney McIntyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazuran Riku!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riku walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McIntyre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McIntyre blocks a low kick nicely.
McIntyre was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
McIntyre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Riku finds it's way round the side to connect with McIntyre's head.
Riku swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McIntyre.
McIntyre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Riku throws a body kick that misses
letting McIntyre counter with a right hand.
Riku misses with a hook. McIntyre ducked under it nicely.
Riku misses with a left hand
and McIntyre counters with a straight right hand.
Riku avoids the body shot from McIntyre.
McIntyre throws a shot from downtown. Riku moves away and avoids it.
McIntyre drops his hands momentarily and Riku takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McIntyre tries to land a leg kick but Riku saw it coming and moves away.
Riku connects with an inside leg kick.
McIntyre moves forwards but Riku connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Riku takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riku scores with a spinning back kick!
Riku scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A jab from Riku misses.
McIntyre misses with the combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Riku! But no joy.
Riku throws a right and a left that McIntyre avoids nicely.
McIntyre swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Riku misses the target.
McIntyre seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Riku scores with a nice body kick.
McIntyre takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Riku. That's going to slow McIntyre down.
Riku throws a hook but McIntyre blocks it.
Riku thuds his shin into the meat of McIntyre's side.
McIntyre takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McIntyre blocks a head kick by Riku.
Riku lands the left hand.
McIntyre moves out of range as Riku strikes.
Riku connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Riku takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McIntyre throws a leg kick which misses Riku's front leg but catches the back leg as Riku tries to avoid it.
McIntyre keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Riku thows a leg kick but McIntyre checks it
enabling McIntyre to counter with a crisp jab.
Riku lands an overhand right.
Riku attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
McIntyre misses with a straight left.
McIntyre walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A left lands for Riku.
McIntyre is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Riku cracks McIntyre on the jaw with a powerful right hand and McIntyre falls backwards against the cage. Riku follows up with more strikes that drop McIntyre to his knees. Riku keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save McIntyre! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lazuran Riku!
Lazuran Riku bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
