Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Bueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dux!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dux moves out of range of the strikes.
Dux throws a series of punches but Bueller moves out of range.
Bueller feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Duxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dux blocks a jab.
Dux throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bueller has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bueller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dux misses with a head kick.

Dux closes the distance and pushes Bueller back into the cage.
Dux blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dux pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Bueller pulls guard successfully.
Dux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bueller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dux trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bueller keeping moving, preventing Dux from controlling successfully.
Dux wants to pass the guard but Bueller is keeping the position.
Bueller looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dux wants to control from the top but Bueller keeps moving.
Bueller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bueller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dux trying to control but Bueller is working from the bottom.
Bueller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dux has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dux wants to control from the top but Bueller keeps moving.
Dux wants to pass the guard but Bueller is keeping the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bueller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bueller takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bueller throws a right hand that Dux ducks under and follows up with a left that Dux also avoids with ease.
Dux is looking to clinch.
Bueller throws a big shot that misses.
Dux on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bueller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dux doesn't seem bothered though.
Dux takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dux works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dux throws a head kick that misses.
Dux misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bueller lands a high kick!


It looks like John Dux has been cut.
Bueller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
John Dux is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dux lands a left and a right that sends Bueller crashing to the canvas! Dux dives into mount looking to finish!


Bueller is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dux working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Oh Bueller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dux goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bueller is on top in guard.
We've been informed that Dux has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Bueller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bueller seems to have got his legs back now.
Dux keeping moving, preventing Bueller from controlling successfully.

Bueller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bueller's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bueller with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bueller stops Dux from standing up.
Bueller trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dux is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bueller is aware though and is defending well.
Dux preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Bueller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dux has his foot on Bueller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bueller works his way back into a safe position though.
Bueller scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Bueller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bueller postures up in Dux's guard and throws a big left but Dux blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Dux will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on John Dux's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bueller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bueller throws a sloppy head kick and Dux moves out of range easily.
Bueller ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dux throws an off balance right hand
and Bueller counters with a straight right hand.
Dux throws a hook but Bueller blocks it.
Bueller is looking to counter punch.
Dux moves in looking to clinch but Bueller pushes him off.
A right-left combo lands from Dux.
John Dux seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dux avoids the head kick by Bueller.
Bueller get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Bueller stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Dux runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Dux!
Our winner, John Dux, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
