Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hooper bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Hooper shoots in for a double leg but Wayne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wayne lands with a hook. Hooper tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Wayne is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Hooper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wayne was well out of range. Poor timing from Hooper.

It looked like Wayne wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hooper lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hooper throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wayne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wayne is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wayne throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Hooper to counter with a crisp jab.

Hooper swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wayne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hooper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wayne paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hooper throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wayne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hooper misses with an uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hooper. Wayne does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wayne.
Hooper dodges the punch combination from Wayne.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Troy Hooper will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hooper comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hooper shoots in and drives through. Wayne sprawls well.

Wayne seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Wayne looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hooper is defending well. Wayne quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hooper has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wayne celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
