Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pierce Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giblert Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pierce Quincy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giblert Melendez !
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez throws a right and a left that both miss.
As Melendez backs away, Quincy returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Quincy scores with a head kick. Melendez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Melendez throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Quincy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Melendez is looking to clinch but Quincy is avoiding it.
It looked like Quincy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Melendez throws a looping overhand right but Quincy ducks down to avoid it.

Quincy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Melendez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Melendez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Quincy looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Giblert Melendez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Quincy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Melendez moves away.

Melendez moves forwards but Quincy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Melendez throws a shot from downtown. Quincy moves away and avoids it.
Quincy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Melendez doesn't seem bothered though.
Melendez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Quincy.

Melendez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Melendez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
