Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jackson actively working from the bottom here.

Jackson wants to control but Borg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Borg lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Borg throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Borg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Borg is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Borg throws a big elbow that misses.
Borg stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position.
Borg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Borg stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Jackson throws up his legs and catches Borg in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Borg tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Jackson! That came out of nowhere!
