Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pounder might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gorgoroth - Open the Gates. The key to victory for Gerry Pounder has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder throws a right and a left that Belfort avoids nicely.
Pounder throws a lazy uppercut
and Belfort decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pounder's guard.
Pounder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Belfort can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belfort accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Belfort pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pounder is keeping the position for now.
Belfort stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Pounder throws up his legs and catches Belfort in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Belfort tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Pounder! That came out of nowhere!
