Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David King Jnr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Myres! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King Jnr stuffs the takedown attempt from Myres. Myres gets slowly back to his feet. Myres cracks King Jnr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like David King Jnr has been cut. Myres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. King Jnr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Myres scores with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King Jnr is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Myres just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! King Jnr has gone limp and this one is over!
