16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Skrumbellos ! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skrumbellos lands with an uppercut that bounces Redfield off the cage and back into range. Redfield fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skrumbellos manages to avoid it. Skrumbellos throws a leg kick but Redfield checks it. Redfield throws a head kick that misses. Skrumbellos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Redfield connects with a body shot. Skrumbellos cracks the inside of Redfield's front leg. Skrumbellos throws a body shot but no joy. The crowd cheers as Redfield lands an impressive looking overhand right. Skrumbellos doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Devin Skrumbellos has been cut. Skrumbellos throws an overhand right that lands on Redfield's shoulder, as Redfield tries to avoid the shot. A punch combination from Redfield misses. We've been informed that Skrumbellos has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Skrumbellos scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Redfield definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Redfield slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Redfield throws a body punch but Skrumbellos moves out of range. Redfield scores with a one two! Skrumbellos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Redfield throws a left and a right that both miss
and Skrumbellos counters with a right hand to the body.

and Redfield counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Skrumbellos jabbing away but nothing is landing. Skrumbellos lands a nice shot to the body.
Skrumbellos lands a front kick. Redfield is breathing heavily. Skrumbellos with a hook. Redfield takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Redfield needs to keep his hands up - Skrumbellos had a free shot at his head there. Skrumbellos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Redfield is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Chris Redfield has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Skrumbellos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Redfield walks into a stiff left hand from Skrumbellos . Skrumbellos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redfield swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Skrumbellos counters with a nice body shot. Skrumbellos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Redfield sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Nice body kick from Skrumbellos . BOOM! Skrumbellos lands a beautiful left hook that drops Redfield. Redfield tries to recover but Skrumbellos is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Redfield lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
