Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Serenade as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Pedro Diaz! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands. Paul fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Paul cracks Diaz with an open hand slap. Paul swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz. Diaz with a poor takedown and Paul connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Paul throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Paul thuds a left hand into Diaz's body. Horrible takedown attempt by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Paul, which made it look bad. Paul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diaz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lance Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Diaz. Diaz wants to clinch and Paul counters with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paul lands a glancing blow to the side of Diaz's head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Paul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paul works the jab nicely. That kick from Paul tenderised Diaz's leg. Diaz is trying to keep his angry face on. Diaz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Diaz fails with the takedown and Paul counters with a stiff right hand. The fighters circle momentarily. Paul darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Diaz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paul sprawls well. Paul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet. Diaz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Paul can pounce on him.
Decent striking displayed by Paul there. Paul throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Diaz. Paul paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Diaz takes one to the chin there. Diaz darts in looking for a takedown but Paul gets double underhooks and turns Diaz into the cage. Paul sizes up Diaz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Paul with a hook. Nice uppercut there from Paul. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Paul catches Diaz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Diaz misses with a takedown attempt letting Paul counter with a right hand. Paul scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Diaz takes one on the button. Nice sprawl there from Paul as Diaz shoots in. Diaz looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands. Diaz tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Diaz shoots and misses and Paul counters with a straight right hand. Paul is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Paul lands a leg kick that knocks Diaz off balance momentarily. It looks like Paul has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Good exchange - Paul coming out on top. Paul lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd cheers as Paul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.

Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Paul finish him? Diaz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Paul connects with a nice looking jab.
Paul swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz. Paul closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Diaz! Paul dives in looking to finish! Diaz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
