Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elliott Alderson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderson misses the jab.
Alderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Adams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alderson.
Adams appears to be looking for a big counter.
Adams shoots in looking for a takedown but Alderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Adams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Alderson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Alderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams.
Adams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice shot lands for Alderson.
Alderson looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
Alderson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alderson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Adams's hands.
Alderson looks to land a left hand but Adams moved out of range nicely.
Adams is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Alderson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Adams is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Alderson throws a body shot but no joy.
Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Alderson pushes him off.
Alderson cracks Adams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Elliott Alderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Alderson as he connects with a hook.
Adams takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Alderson scores with a body shot.
Alderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Alderson throws a sloppy body shot
and Adams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Alderson lands with a right hand.
Alderson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Adams's sensitive parts.
Alderson jabs at Adams's body.
Alderson lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters circling - Alderson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Adams went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Adams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alderson swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alderson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Alderson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Adams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alderson defends it nicely.
Alderson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Alderson is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Alderson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Adams at a distance.
Alderson scores with a push kick.

Alderson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Adams sprawling to the canvas! Adams rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Alderson finish him?!


Adams is rocked!
Adams leaves his chin hanging out and Alderson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Adams crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Elliott Alderson!
