The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent jabs Woodard right on the nose. Woodard blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Ollie Woodard has been cut.
Kent clinches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The referee calls for Kent to work.
Kent leaning his opponent against the cage.
Kent manages to break the clinch.
Kent leaves Woodard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kent scores with a push kick.

Kent falls off balance throwing a combination
and Woodard counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kent has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Woodard is on him like a limpet, forcing Kent back against the cage.
Kent blocks an elbow strike.
Kent is struggling to control the position.
Kent with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Woodard tries to land a knee to the head but Kent blocks with his arms.
Woodard tries to break free but Kent pushes him back against the cage.
Woodard throws an elbow but it misses.
Woodard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Woodard.
Kent throws Woodard to one side and escapes!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kent sends Woodard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kent is motioning to the referee to let Woodard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Woodard is rocked!
Jamie Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kent batters Woodard with a massive right followed by a huge left! Woodard is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Kent lands a final crushing right hand to drop Woodard to the mat with a gruesome thud! Kent is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
