Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chesty Puller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Kopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puller's entrance music is Your Going Down. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Chesty Puller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Kopp! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kopp shoots in looking for a takedown. Puller tries to sprawl out of it but Kopp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Puller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kopp comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Puller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Puller throws a big right hand that misses. Puller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kopp works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kopp has control of Puller's left arm, preventing Puller from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Puller preventing the sweep. Kopp is pulling down on Puller's head to control his posture. Puller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Puller throws a big right hand that misses. Puller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kopp working a defensive guard here.
Puller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Puller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kopp works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kopp pulls Puller in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kopp is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kopp trying to control but Puller is working from the bottom. Kopp working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Puller's head. Puller keeping moving, preventing Kopp from controlling successfully. Puller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kopp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kopp takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Puller gets a takedown into half guard. Puller trying to control the action but Kopp is working from the bottom. Kopp moves into full guard.
Puller throwing strikes but missing. Puller is looking to pass into half guard but Kopp pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kopp is in guard. Kopp won't allow Puller to get back to his feet. Puller working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kopp.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kopp seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kopp postures up in Puller's guard and throws a big left but Puller blocks it. Puller looking to control.
Kopp has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kopp scoring with some ground and pound. Puller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kopp is working Puller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kopp lands a couple of digs. Kopp slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kopp works over Puller with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Steven Kopp will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kopp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kopp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It looked like Puller wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kopp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kopp shoots for a takedown but Puller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Puller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kopp moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Puller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kopp circles away. Kopp drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Puller defends it well. Puller scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Steven Kopp has been cut. Puller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Kopp counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Puller misses with a wild body shot. A punch combination from Puller misses. Puller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kopp to score an easy takedown into full guard. Puller has his feet on Kopp's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kopp stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kopp wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chesty Puller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Puller ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kopp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Puller. Chesty Puller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Puller fails with the takedown enabling Kopp to counter with a crisp jab. Nice shot by Kopp. Kopp looking to score a takedown here. Puller is defending well but Kopp drives through and ends up in Puller's guard. Kopp wants to control from the top but Puller keeps moving. Kopp forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kopp winds up and cracks Puller with a swinging punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kopp is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Puller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kopp scores with a couple of nice shots. Kopp looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Puller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Puller is rocked! Kopp is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kopp postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Puller looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Puller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Puller tries to lock up and control but Kopp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Puller seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kopp with good strikes from the mount here! Kopp lands a big elbow. Kopp is landing with some decent strikes but Puller is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kopp is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Puller goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Kopp!
