Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
M Lau closes the distance and pushes Pakpao back into the cage.
Pakpao wants to break the clinch but can't.
M Lau tightens his grip and picks Pakpao up, before dumping him to the ground. Pakpao manages to land in guard.
M Lau working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
M Lau throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
M Lau pushing down on Pakpao's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pakpao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for M Lau on the ground.

Pakpao has hold of M Lau's hands but M Lau slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Pakpao is not content to let M Lau control the position.
M Lau is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pakpao!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, M Lau cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pakpao is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! M Lau has taken his back!

M Lau has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Pakpao! Can he survive? No! He's out! M Lau gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
