Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skinner's entrance music is Slayer - Raining Blood. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shawn Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Styles! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Styles does no damage. Styles looks to land a combination but Skinner avoids it well. Skinner throws a head kick but Styles moves out of range.
Nice shot by Styles. Styles throws a right and a left that both miss. Skinner has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Styles finds it's way round the side to connect with Skinner's head. Skinner lands with a kick to the temple. Styles shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Jason Styles has been cut. Styles has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Styles fails to land with a series of punches.
Skinner throws a front kick that sends Styles stumbling back into the cage. Skinner looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A head kick misses from Skinner. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skinner throws a big shot that misses. Styles swings for the body but Skinner moves out of range.
Skinner swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Skinner thows a left - swing and a miss! Styles swings for the body but Skinner moves out of range.
Styles tries to clinch there but Skinner circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Skinner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Styles misses with an uppercut
and Skinner counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Styles wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Skinner has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner tries to land a knee to the head but Styles blocks with his arms.
Skinner manages to break the clinch.
Skinner moves into the clinch successfully.
Skinner gets through Styles's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Styles wants to break free but Skinner has control.
Styles looking to slow down the pace here. Skinner lands a body punch. Skinner stalling.
Skinner is defending well against a takedown attempt. Skinner taking a breather. Skinner misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Styles blocks a body shot from Skinner. A short right from Skinner on the inside. Styles tries to break the clinch but Skinner is controlling the position. Skinner working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A head punch on the inside from Skinner fails to land. Skinner lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Styles takes a shot to the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Skinner. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Skinner digs a right hand into Styles's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Styles's gas tank. Styles wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Skinner is working Styles over against the cage. Skinner lands a body punch. Skinner lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Skinner lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Styles. Styles looks winded! A short uppercut from Skinner. Skinner turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Skinner manages to end up in side control. Skinner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Styles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Skinner taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Skinner creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Styles sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. This has been an exciting period of action! Skinner is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. An elbow from Skinner crashes against the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn Skinner dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Styles's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Styles slips a jab from Skinner. Skinner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Styles moves away. Skinner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Styles can do to turn this around? Styles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Skinner counters with a stiff right hand. Styles misses with a head kick.
Skinner lands with a nice combination. Styles backs away looking to recover. Styles closes the distance looking to clinch and Skinner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Skinner shoots for a takedown but Styles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Styles misses with a double jab
and Skinner counters by clinching up. Skinner's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Skinner tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Styles looking to slow down the pace here. Skinner scores with an uppercut up the middle. Skinner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Styles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Skinner tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Skinner lands a nice shot to the body. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Skinner scores with a shoulder strike. A right hook to the body lands for Skinner.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Skinner. Skinner scores with a hook to the body. Skinner lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Styles is breathing heavily. A quick uppercut on the inside from Skinner. Skinner lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Styles backwards. Skinner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Styles misses with a two punch combination.
Skinner tried to counter with a leg kick but Styles avoided it. Styles throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skinner counters with a crisp right that sends Styles to the canvas! Skinner follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
