The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Terror Of The Island throws the left hand but Faber avoids the punch easily.
Faber changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Faber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Terror Of The Island tries to avoid it but Faber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Terror Of The Island to the ground. The Terror Of The Island escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Faber has his takedown stuffed
and The Terror Of The Island counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Uriah Faber has been cut.

Faber is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. The Terror Of The Island can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Uriah Faber spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
