PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Trauma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Monster Magnet - Powertrip. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Trauma!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trauma.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Trauma sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Trauma ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nice takedown defense from Trauma. No joy for Smith on that attempt.

Smith is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Trauma has escaped the position, nice work there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smith, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
