Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludvig Ericsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ludvig Ericsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ McKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson moves out of range as McKenzie strikes.
McKenzie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Ericsson.
Ericsson tries to counter with a takedown but McKenzie is quick to defend against it.
McKenzie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
McKenzie throws a leg kick

and Ericsson counters with a nice double leg into side control. McKenzie won't be happy with that.
Ericsson takes a little break here. McKenzie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
McKenzie tries to bench press Ericsson off him but Ericsson keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ericsson is looking to take a break and control but McKenzie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McKenzie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ericsson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ericsson throws a strike aimed at the side of McKenzie's head but McKenzie avoids it well.
A lull in the action here as Ericsson stalls from top position.
Ericsson is trying to ground and pound but McKenzie uses the momentary lack of control by Ericsson to regain half guard.
Ericsson wants to take a breather but McKenzie is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ericsson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McKenzie for as long as he can get away with.

McKenzie is looking for a sweep. Ericsson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Ericsson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McKenzie to the ground. Ericsson is now in McKenzie's guard.
Ericsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ericsson wants to pass the guard but McKenzie is keeping the position.

Ericsson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from McKenzie. That one must have hurt.

Ericsson throws a lazy right hand but McKenzie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ericsson shoots in looking for a takedown. McKenzie tries to sprawl out of it but Ericsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McKenzie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ericsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKenzie manages to avoid it.
McKenzie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ericsson loads up on a big right hand but McKenzie slips the punch.
McKenzie tries to counter with a clinch but Ericsson shakes him off and moves away.
McKenzie throws a wild body kick that Ericsson sees coming a mile off.
McKenzie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

McKenzie is looking to land body kicks.
Ericsson tries to counter with a takedown but McKenzie is quick to defend against it.
Ericsson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McKenzie can do to turn this around?
McKenzie throws a hook but Ericsson blocks it.
McKenzie stuns Ericsson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Ericsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McKenzie.
McKenzie throws a body punch but Ericsson moves out of range.

McKenzie needs to keep his hands up - Ericsson had a free shot at his head there.
McKenzie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McKenzie wants it to stay on the feet.
McKenzie throws a leg kick which misses Ericsson's front leg but catches the back leg as Ericsson tries to avoid it.

McKenzie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ericsson was well out of range. Poor timing from McKenzie.
McKenzie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ericsson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Ericsson counters with a nice low kick that buckles McKenzie's knee momentarily.
McKenzie throws a head kick that Ericsson semi-blocks.
Ericsson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McKenzie is fending him off so far but Ericsson persists. Nope, McKenzie circles away and we're back to standing.

AJ McKenzie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ericsson regains half guard.

AJ McKenzie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McKenzie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
