Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Nassar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Wilder! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilder throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wilder throws the left hand but Nassar avoids the punch easily. Wilder walks into a stiff left hand from Nassar. We've been informed that Wilder has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Nassar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilder moves away. Nassar connects with the punch. Wilder misses with a hook. Nassar ducked under it nicely. Wilder throws the left hand but Nassar avoids the punch easily. Wilder defending well as Nassar loads up on a big left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nassar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nassar throws a jab but it's blocked by Wilder. Wilder throws an overhand right that lands on Nassar's shoulder, as Nassar tries to avoid the shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Wilder might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Nassar has got the better of the exchanges. Nassar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilder can do to turn this around? Wilder moves out of range of the strikes. Wilder fails with an attempt to clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that George Nassar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nassar follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Wilder to the canvas! Nassar pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Wilder has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). George Nassar! A relieved looking George Nassar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
