Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Urai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urai comes to the cage accompanied by Sever the Wicked. Sam Urai could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Brandao's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 2, fighting out of London, Sam Urai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Brandao! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandao throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Urai circles away from the clinch attempt and Urai counters with a stiff right hand. A slow jab from Brandao misses its intended target. Brandao has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Brandao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Urai scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Brandao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A swing and a miss from Brandao. Urai goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Brandao swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Brandao takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Brandao misses and Urai counters with a nice uppercut. Brandao has managed to clinch.
Urai takes a knee to the side of the body. Brandao tries to land knees in the clinch but Urai avoids the damage to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A quick uppercut on the inside from Urai. Brandao throws a head punch that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandao misses with a punch on the inside.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A head punch on the inside from Brandao fails to land. Urai lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Brandao lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brandao doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

It looks like Jose Brandao has been cut. Brandao swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A head punch on the inside from Urai fails to land. Urai scores with a nice hook to the head. Urai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Urai. Brandao lands a hook to the side of the head. Urai tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Brandao's elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandao tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Urai unloads a knee to the mid-section. Brandao lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Urai lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Brandao can't find room to land a body shot as Urai controls the action.
Still in the clinch, Brandao scores with a nice short uppercut. A head punch blocked on the inside by Urai. Brandao misses with a punch on the inside.
A short right from Urai on the inside. Brandao pushes off an throws an elbow but Urai leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Urai lands a left hand.
Brandao is rocked! Urai creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Brandao's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Brandao drops to his knees and Urai pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Urai! Our winner, Sam Urai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
