Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taiki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Taiki Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Chris Gunn! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn scores with a decent looking hook. A telegraphed right hand from Gunn misses the target. Aoki attempts a counter takedown but Gunn avoids it well and moves away. Gunn ducks under a wild hook from Aoki. Gunn wants to counter with a clinch but Aoki pushes him away. Aoki misses the shot to the body. Gunn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Aoki wants to improve his position but Gunn is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gunn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gunn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Aoki trying to hold on to Gunn's head to control him but Gunn postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aoki is looking for a sweep. Gunn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Aoki trying to control but Gunn postures up.
Ground and pound from Gunn. Aoki is looking to get back to full guard here but Gunn has managed to pass to side control instead. Aoki takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Aoki is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Body Pain_14elite_700$+VM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki regains half guard. Aoki moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Aoki is trying to control the position but Gunn postures up. Gunn connects with a couple of short punches. Gunn is in close to Aoki's body, working some short punches and elbows. Aoki pulls Gunn in to control the position. Gunn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aoki controls Gunn momentarily but Gunn frees himself. Gunn postures up in Aoki's guard and throws a big left but Aoki blocks it. Gunn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gunn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gunn with a nice head shot there.
Aoki is rocked! Gunn with a flurry of punches that miss. Gunn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gunn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Aoki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gunn lands a couple of digs. Oh Aoki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aoki pushes a forearm under Gunn's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gunn is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
