Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tonny Blaze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shadow King! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from King there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Shadow King has been cut. Blaze misses with a double jab
and King counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Blaze is defending against the submission attempts here by King.
Blaze knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. King is trying to work for a kimura but Blaze is defending well.
Blaze avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King sitting and controlling from the half guard. King missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. King seems to be working for a kimura but Blaze defends the submission attempt. King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blaze doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Blaze taking some punishment here, with King in his half guard. King is taking a breather. Blaze says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. King controlling the action here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. King throws a right and a left that both miss. Blaze stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Blaze definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blaze counters with a straight right hand. King throws a combination that misses enabling Blaze to counter with a crisp jab. King takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That has opened up Shadow King's cut even more. Blaze slips a jab and a cross from King.

and Blaze counters with a series of strikes. King will be more careful next time no doubt. King looks up at the clock. Bad move! Blaze lands a right hand from hell, dropping King. Blaze pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
