Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Garry Gurrang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Bradshaw! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gurrang doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bradshaw counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bradshaw throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gurrang avoids the head kick by Bradshaw.
Gurrang is looking to counter with head kicks. Gurrang is looking to clinch but Bradshaw is avoiding it.
Good exchange - Bradshaw coming out on top.
Gurrang is rocked! Bradshaw closes the distance and clinches. Oh Gurrang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bradshaw just leaning against Gurrang, taking a breather. Bradshaw gets a trip takedown into half guard. Gurrang seems to have got his legs back now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bradshaw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gurrang works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradshaw engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bradshaw prevents Gurrang from getting back to his feet. Gurrang working a defensive guard here.
Bradshaw slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gurrang looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bradshaw passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gurrang is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A lull in the action here as Bradshaw stalls from top position. Bradshaw stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gurrang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bradshaw swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bradshaw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gurrang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bradshaw lands a nice forearm strike. Gurrang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bradshaw wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gurrang is breathing heavily. Bradshaw scores with a couple of short elbows. Bradshaw is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gurrang has escaped the position, nice work there. Gurrang is looking for a sweep. Bradshaw has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bradshaw feints a jab promting Gurrang to slip. Bradshaw then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gurrang slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gurrang was covering up waiting for the punch and Bradshaw finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bradshaw advances to half guard. Bradshaw passes to side control. Bradshaw scoring with punches from side control. Bradshaw has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Bradshaw dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bradshaw looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gurrang! Bradshaw has knee on belly and moves into mount. Bradshaw has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gurrang is in a horrible position here. Bradshaw smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gurrang tries to reverse the position but Bradshaw maintains control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradshaw lands a heavy elbow. Bradshaw working for a guillotine from mount but Gurrang is in no mood to give up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bradshaw content just to control the position here.

Bradshaw controlling his opponent. Bradshaw is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gurrang can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gurrang in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Gurrang is in a horrible position here. Bradshaw smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bradshaw is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gurrang is surviving well by controlling Bradshaw's body position as best he can. Bradshaw postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gurrang badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bradshaw around the waist but Bradshaw pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bradshaw is the winner by TKO! Bradshaw jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Bradshaw!
