Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seb Sha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seb Sha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Wood!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wood.
Sha misses with an uppercut. Wood saw that one coming.
Wood smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wood's guard.
Sha throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wood works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sha scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sha in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sha wants to control from the top but Wood keeps moving.
Sha throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wood swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wood controls Sha momentarily but Sha frees himself.
Sha landing with the ground and pound.

Sha wants to control from the top but Wood keeps moving.
Sha cracks Wood with a solid left hand.
Sha with a flurry of punches that miss.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sha seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sha makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Sha lands a couple of digs.
Sha tries to free his leg and advance position but Wood is retaining full guard.
Sha missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Sha trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Wood manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Wood slips a nice elbow through Sha's hands, connecting with Sha's forehead.
Sha is trying is best to control the position here.
Sha wants to control but Wood is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wood wants to pass to mount but Sha is defending the position.
Wood is taking a breather. Sha says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sha tries to get to full guard but Wood has control of the leg.
Wood landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sha is looking for a sweep. Wood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sha is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wood pulls his head out easily.
Wood lands with a punch from half guard.

Sha wants to improve his position but Wood is controlling well.
Wood trying to control the action but Sha is working from the bottom.
Wood working Sha over with strikes.
Sha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sha is working hard here to advance position.
Wood working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sha is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wood scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Seb Sha will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Wood shoots in and bounces Sha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Sha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sha is looking to control Wood's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sha avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Andrew Wood has got the better of the ground game so far.

Sha is rocked!

Sha has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Wood escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Wood!
Sha takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Oh Sha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sha sneaks back into half guard.
Sha seems to have got his legs back now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wood connects with a nice short shot to Sha's temple.
Sha makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sha.

Sha trying to keep a closed guard but Wood is proving a slippery customer.

Sha looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Wood lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Wood is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wood gets to his feet and stands over Sha, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sha felt that one! Wood unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sha from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Wood!
