Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbert Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herbert Burns told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns has his takedown stuffed
and Kennedy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Burns.
Kennedy jabs at Burns's body.
Burns misses with a takedown attempt
and Kennedy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liam Kennedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbert Burns.

Burns shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kennedy but Kennedy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
