Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felton Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Gram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gram comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jim Johnston . Next Big Thing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felton Page! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Gram! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Page with that takedown attempt. Gram misses with a double jab.
Page went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Gram throws a low kick, looking for Page's leg but Page calmly moves out of range. Gram misses with a wild combination.
Gram throws a combination that misses and Page counters with a left and a right that stings Gram. Gram clinches up with Page and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gram breaks from the clinch.
Gram misses with an uppercut. Page saw that one coming. Gram misses with a right hand and Page counters with a lovely shot to the body. Gram gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page blocks the elbow strike.
Page pressing his opponent against the cage. Gram wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Page has him pressed against the cage. Gram breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Page shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gram but Gram pushes him off and we're back to square one. Page looks for a takedown but Gram sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felton Page. That's going to take a lot out of him. Page dives in and grabs Gram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gram pushes down on Page's head and hops out. A shot to the body from Gram misses and Page counters with a big head kick but Gram shrugs it off.

A combination from Gram does no damage. Gram misses with a wild combination.
Page swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. A low kick from Gram is predictable there and Page counters with an outside leg kick.
Gram looks to land a combination but Page avoids it well. Page quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. No joy there for Gram, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gram takes the fight into the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Page.
Page tries to land knees in the clinch but Gram avoids the damage to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gram breaks the clinch.
Page closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Page lands in his opponent's guard. Page really is a fat lump. Page stops Gram from standing up. Page working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gram is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Page presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Gram is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Gram tries to break free but Page pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Page managing to block the knees to the body from Gram.
Gram tries to circle away but Page has him pinned against the cage. Gram is trying to break the clinch but Page is controlling him. Page pressing his opponent against the cage. Gram working Page over with knees to the body. Gram has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gram gets underhooks to prevent Page's takedown attempt.
Gram lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Page is breathing heavily. Page wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Gram throws a sloppy head kick and Page counters with a nice kick to the body. Gram throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gram throws a series of punches but Page moves out of range. Gram misses with a jab, cross combination.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gram manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Good exchange - Gram coming out on top.

and Gram takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gram throws a sloppy head kick and Page moves out of range easily. Felton Page is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gram gets a clinch. Gram is pressed up against the cage. Page has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gram down to the mat. Gram avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gram misses with a two punch combination.
Page quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Page looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gram is fending him off so far but Page persists. and Page counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gram bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Page's head backwards. Gram rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Page moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alexander Gram seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gram lands a jab to the head.
Page tries for a takedown but Gram sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gram misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Page counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Gram misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gram swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Page seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Gram is breathing heavily.

and Page counters with a nice body kick. Gram feints and then cracks Page's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Page down. Alexander Gram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gram looks to land a left hand but Page moved out of range nicely. Page seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A head kick misses from Gram. Sloppy strikes from Gram. Those never looked like landing. Page seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Gram has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gram takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
As Page backs off Gram throws a huge counter combo but Page manages to avoid it all. Gram throws a head kick that misses. Gram lands with a slapping head kick. Gram has closed the distance and engaged Page in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gram has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Page after a bit of a struggle. Gram escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gram throws a lazy head kick and Page counters with a series of strikes. Gram will be more careful next time no doubt. Gram misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Alexander Gram showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Page's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Page dives in and scores a takedown into Gram's guard. Gram wants to sweep but no luck. Page throws a big right hand that misses. Page landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gram holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gram is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Page throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gram works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page scoring with some ground and pound. Gram really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Page. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gram working a defensive guard but Page manages to pass into side control anyway.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gram can do anything to dispel that myth. Gram is looking to regain half guard here but Page keeps moving and retains side control. Page working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gram is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Page thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gram wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Page cracks Gram with an elbow. That is naaassty. Page working the ground and pound. Gram is trying to work for a sweep but Page has mounted him! Page raining down shots from the mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Page cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Page dominating with strikes here. Gram can't escape the position.
Page lands with some strikes. The referee warns Gram that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Page prevents Gram from getting the reversal. Gram takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gram tries to lock up and control but Page gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Page putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Gram really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Page is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gram is surviving well by controlling Page's body position as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Page manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gram to take his back! Page is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Gram rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Page is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Page throwing shots but Gram is blocking nicely. Gram is trying to stand back up but Page is controlling him

Gram pushes Page off and gets back to his feet. Alexander Gram is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gram throws a right and a left that Page avoids nicely. Gram throws a nice head kick!
Felton Page has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! This has been an exciting period of action! Page walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
And that's the end of the fight! Felton Page showed his dominance in that final round. I think Gram has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
