Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micha Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Go hard. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
Pierre tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pierre is not content to let Jones control the position.
Pierre regains half guard.
Pierre is trying to control but can't.
Pierre is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pierre wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.

Pierre had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pierre Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pierre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pierre tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.

Pierre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.

The is referee keeping an eye on Jones - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pierre gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones wants to sweep here but Pierre controlling him for the moment.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pierre manages to get himself to full guard.
