Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Pharoni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pharoni drops Coleman with a right and a left! Pharoni comes rushing in but Coleman regains his composure and manages to keep Pharoni in guard.


Coleman is rocked!


It looks like Steve Coleman has been cut.
Pharoni controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Coleman is still in real trouble! Can Pharoni finish him?
Pharoni really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pharoni lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Coleman seems to have recovered his senses.
Coleman wants to control the position but Pharoni says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Pharoni not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coleman is not content to let Pharoni control the position.
Pharoni controlling the pace.
Pharoni wants to stand but Coleman has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Coleman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pharoni.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Coleman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Coleman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pharoni manages to get himself to full guard.
Pharoni wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position.
Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Pharoni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coleman throws a strike but Pharoni rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pharoni stands up and waves to Coleman to follow him.
Some wild striking there from Pharoni.
Bill Pharoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Coleman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pharoni pinned against the cage. Pharoni gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pharoni throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pharoni stuffs the takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.
Bill Pharoni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Coleman.
Pharoni throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pharoni misses with a few strikes there.
Coleman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Pharoni dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steve Coleman's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Coleman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pharoni is looking to clinch.
Pharoni doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleman circles away.
Pharoni keeps the fight on the outside.
Pharoni scores with a hook to the body. Coleman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice takedown defense from Pharoni. No joy for Coleman on that attempt.
Pharoni fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coleman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pharoni fails to land with a series of punches.
Pharoni misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pharoni throws a series of punches but Coleman avoids them all with ease.

Pharoni gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pharoni is pressed up against the cage. Coleman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pharoni down to the mat. Pharoni avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Coleman needs to keep his hands up - Pharoni had a free shot at his head there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pharoni lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Coleman can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Pharoni and Coleman drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Pharoni.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Pharoni!
