Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milek Kuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavlo Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Milek Kuki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Milek Kuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Pavlo Boyko! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kuki tries to get to full guard but Boyko has control of the leg. Kuki preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Kuki misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kuki controlling the position well. Kuki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boyko wants to take a breather but Kuki is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuki is trying to control but can't.
Boyko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyko seems to be working for a kimura but Kuki defends the submission attempt. Boyko looks winded! Kuki is looking for a sweep. Boyko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kuki wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kuki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boyko is working away from the top position though. Boyko looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kuki wants to get back to full guard. Kuki kicks Boyko off and gets back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Boyko. No joy for Kuki on that attempt. Kuki fails with the takedown and Boyko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuki is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boyko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milek Kuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boyko tries to clinch up but Kuki circles away and keeps his distance. Kuki looks to clinch and Boyko counters with a single leg into guard. Kuki didn't expect that. Boyko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boyko won't allow Kuki to sweep him here. Boyko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kuki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boyko's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuki stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight moves into the clinch position. Kuki is fighting off a takedown attempt but Boyko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kuki to the mat. Kuki regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Boyko lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Boyko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kuki pulls Boyko in close to his closed guard and prevents Boyko from doing any damage or advancing position. Boyko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kuki is keeping the position for now. Boyko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boyko working some strikes from top position. Boyko with a flurry of punches that miss. Kuki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kuki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boyko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boyko tries to free his leg and advance position but Kuki is retaining full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boyko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kuki fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavlo Boyko dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kuki takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Boyko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boyko wants it to stay on the feet. Kuki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Boyko closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kuki quickly recovers to half guard. Kuki is looking to improve his position.
Kuki is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boyko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kuki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kuki. Boyko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kuki has his feet on Boyko's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Boyko is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kuki. Kuki tries to clinch and Boyko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kuki kicks off Boyko and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boyko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kuki tries to clinch up and Boyko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kuki won't be happy with that. Kuki sneaks out the side door and pushes Boyko away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kuki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kuki fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milek Kuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuki has his takedown stuffed and Boyko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyko lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Boyko is in close to Kuki's body, working some short punches and elbows. Boyko advances position into side control! Kuki on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Boyko working the head with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuki struggling a bit here. Boyko has hold of Kuki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kuki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boyko cranks the arm and Kuki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kuki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Pavlo Boyko!
