Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gayle Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gayle Estrada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Roberts! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts has closed the distance and engaged Estrada in a clinch.
Estrada manages to break the clinch.
Roberts closes the distance and clinches. Roberts is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Estrada is defending well for now. Estrada avoiding damage.
Estrada stalls. Estrada seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. A head punch on the inside from Roberts fails to land. Roberts looking to stall.
Estrada keeps control of Roberts as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Estrada blocks an uppercut.
Estrada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Estrada manages to end up in side control. Roberts tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Estrada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Roberts looks to move to half guard but instead Estrada has passed into mount! Damn! Estrada controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts is working to get back to half guard.
Roberts keeps trying to improve his position. Estrada looking to control and managing it successfully. Roberts gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roberts works his way to full guard. Good work. Estrada has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Estrada preventing the sweep. Estrada got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roberts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Estrada has managed to get both his arms back between Roberts's legs - danger averted. Roberts working for submissions but it's allowed Estrada to get to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roberts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Estrada is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Estrada lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Estrada prevents Roberts from improving his position. Roberts trying to control but Estrada postures up.
Roberts is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Estrada scores with a couple of nice shots. Estrada not doing much here.
Estrada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roberts decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Estrada is refusing to be controlled, as Roberts sits in half guard. Roberts controlling the pace. Roberts is working for a kimura but Estrada is defending it quite comfortably.
Roberts blocks the strikes from Estrada.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Estrada looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Estrada moves into full guard.

Roberts is looking for a kimura but Estrada is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roberts to get the leverage. Roberts seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Estrada wants to control but Roberts is keeping busy and won't allow it. Estrada preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Estrada trying to control here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Estrada is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Roberts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Roberts not doing much here.
Estrada works his way to full guard. Good work. Roberts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Estrada wants to sweep but no luck. Roberts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Estrada keeping full guard, as Roberts tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Estrada is on top in guard.
Roberts is controlling Estrada's posture. Roberts is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roberts is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Roberts wants to sweep but no luck. Roberts is looking for a triangle but Estrada pushes his legs off easily.
Estrada trying to control but Roberts is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Estrada not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Roberts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Estrada was well out of range. Poor timing from Roberts. Roberts feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Roberts makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Roberts gets to his feet. Estrada looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Roberts has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Roberts misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roberts trying to control but Estrada is working from the bottom. Estrada is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Estrada can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roberts controls the pace. Estrada has an active guard here but Roberts has managed to pass into half guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Estrada is defending well. Roberts works his way into side control. Roberts working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Roberts lands a nice forearm strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Estrada can't do much from the bottom here. Estrada looking for a sweep but Roberts has passed into full mount! Oh no! Roberts controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Estrada tries to hold on but Roberts pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
