Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, seth Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dicky Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Austin works the jab nicely.
Jackson shoots in and drives through. Austin sprawls well.
Austin throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson tries to move into range but Austin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Austin's sensitive parts.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Austin pushes Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.
Austin is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks.
Austin is breathing heavily.

Jackson has picked Austin up - he's going for a ride! Jackson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jackson in particular looking to stall.
Austin tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jackson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Jackson controlling the position easily from mount.

Austin is looking to improve his position but Jackson isn't that keen on the idea.

Austin really wants to buck Jackson off and get back to his feet.

Jackson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Austin get back to his feet.

Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Austin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Austin stuffs the takedown.
Austin misses with a head kick.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Austin's waist but Austin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
seth Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dicky Jackson.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Austin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson pushes Austin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Austin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Austin throws a front kick that sends Jackson stumbling back into the cage.

Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Austin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Austin is looking to land body kicks.
Jackson blocks the body kick.
Jackson shoots in but Austin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A head kick misses from Jackson.
Austin lands a jab to the head.
Austin throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.

Jackson drives through and clinches with Austin against the cage.

Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Austin is looking to stand up but Jackson won't let him.
Austin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Austin wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jackson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Austin looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Austin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jackson has picked Austin up and slammed him! Austin can't keep hold of the triangle and Jackson manages to pass to side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Austin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Austin.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Austin tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Austin has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.
Jackson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dicky Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jackson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Austin defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Jackson has the hooks in. Austin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Austin trying to get back to his feet but Jackson is in full control for now.
Austin is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Jackson controlling the positon.
Austin looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
I would not like to be Austin right now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Jackson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jackson is looking to control Austin but Austin is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dicky Jackson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Austin tries to clinch but Jackson moves away

and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. Austin didn't expect that.

Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dicky Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jackson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Austin!

Austin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jackson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Austin is surviving well by controlling Jackson's body position as best he can.
Austin tries to reverse the position but Jackson maintains control.
Austin wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.

Jackson won't let Austin get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Austin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Dicky Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
