Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Faup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Faup is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregory Belcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Faup! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belcher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Faup tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Belcher is in Faup's guard. Belcher might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Faup looking to control.
Faup is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Belcher defends well. Belcher wants to pass the guard but Faup is keeping the position. Belcher advances to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Faup is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Faup is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belcher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belcher's back! Belcher tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Faup can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Belcher is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belcher tries to hold on but Faup postures up. Belcher is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Belcher holds on for dear life, controlling Faup's posture momentarily. Belcher tries to get back to half guard but can't. Faup wants to control the pace but Belcher is squirming around nicely. Belcher regains half guard. Faup trying to mount his opponent but Belcher defends it. Belcher gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belcher has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Faup controlling from the top position. Belcher is controlling Faup's posture. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Belcher's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Belcher tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Faup drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Belcher defends it well. Faup lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Faup. Faup throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Belcher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Faup sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belcher somewhat. Belcher avoids the head kick by Faup.
Faup tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Belcher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Faup fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Belcher tries to keep at a distance but Faup has taken the fight into the clinch. Belcher tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Belcher throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Faup was covering up waiting for the punch and Belcher finishes the takedown easily into guard. Belcher trying to control but Faup is working from the bottom. Faup wants to stand up but Belcher is controlling him. Belcher wants to pass the guard but Faup is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belcher throwing strikes from guard but Faup blocks nicely. Belcher slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belcher throwing strikes from guard but Faup blocks nicely. Faup has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Faup avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Faup utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Belcher is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Peter Faup is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Faup lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Faup misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice takedown defense from Faup. No joy for Belcher on that attempt. Sloppy strikes from Faup. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belcher fails with a takedown attempt. Belcher shoots in looking for a takedown. Faup tries to sprawl out of it but Belcher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faup manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Belcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belcher moves out of range of the body kick from Faup.
Faup tries to bum rush Belcher with a series of wild strikes but Belcher uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Belcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Belcher is working for a kimura but Faup is defending it quite comfortably.
Faup is looking to escape. Gregory Belcher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Belcher maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Faup could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Belcher has cracked it and Faup is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Belcher!
