Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Mont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mont has chosen el chapo the gane & skrillex as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Austin French! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Mont! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mont misses with a body shot.

Mont rushes French and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. French prevents a body shot from Mont. Mont throws a head punch that misses. Mont avoiding damage.
Mont's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mont instigates a clinch. Mont breaks from the clinch.

French is looking to counter the offense by Mont and move into the clinch. A cross from Mont lands. French tries to clinch up. Mont unleashes a big counter combination but French bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Mont misses with a series of wild punches.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. French tries to counter with a takedown but Mont is quick to defend against it. French moves out of range as Mont throws a body kick.

Mont makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mont's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This has been an exciting period of action! Mont misses with a few strikes there.
French feinted with a counter takedown. Mont should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. French shoots in and drives through. Mont sprawls well. French doesn't manage to clinch there - Mont circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. French is defending well against a takedown attempt. Austin French has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Mont. Mont tries a knee to the head but French blocks it.

Mont is trying to defend but French finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Mont makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! French blocks a low kick nicely. French shoots in but no luck this time. Mont tries to clinch but French is having none of it. French tries to close the distance and clinch but Mont swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. French looks to score with a jab to the body but Mont is just out of range. Scott Mont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mont drives through and clinches with French against the cage.
French is trying to force a seperation but Mont has the dominant position. Mont lands a takedown into guard.

Scott Mont dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mont leaves French with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mont pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oh, that's bad for French! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mont wants to stand but French has his arm trapped. French throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Mont misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Mont stands up and beckons French to his feet. Mont darts in looking for a takedown but French gets double underhooks and turns Mont into the cage. French tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mont swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin French. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mont shoots in for a double leg but French sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Mont checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Mont swats away the attempt to clinch by French. Mont is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Mont tries to clinch but fails miserably and French counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mont kicks French off and gets back to his feet. Mont tries to close the distance and clinch up but French swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mont misses with a hook. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and French counters with a stiff right hand. Mont misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. French drives through with a takedown into Mont's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! French stands up and waves to Mont to follow him. French looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. French gets to his feet - Mont follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Mont showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

French tries to circle away but Mont has him pinned against the cage. Mont has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mont creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through French's defenses.
It looks like Austin French has been cut. Mont crunches a lovely knee into French's ribcage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short uppercut from Mont. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mont tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mont has French pressed against the cage, preventing French from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mont goes for a takedown attempt but French pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mont rushes French and presses him up against the cage. Mont lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Mont breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mont throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on French's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Mont dives in looking to finish as French flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Mont's strikes! Mont is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! French's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but French was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Mont! After the fight, Scott Mont was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
