Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Duke McStoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teiden Ritari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke McStoner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teiden Ritari!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritari slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ritari has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McStoner is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A jab from Ritari finds it's way through McStoner's defenses.


It looks like Duke McStoner has been cut.
Ritari avoids the head kick by McStoner.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ritari. That's going to slow McStoner down.
Ritari ducks under a wild hook from McStoner.
Ritari wants to counter the offense by McStoner and move into the clinch position.
McStoner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McStoner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McStoner lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ritari at a distance.
McStoner throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McStoner throws a body punch but Ritari moves out of range.
McStoner misses with an uppercut.
McStoner throws a good cross that connects.


It looks like Teiden Ritari has been cut.
McStoner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ritari uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McStoner.
McStoner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ritari jabs McStoner to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McStoner walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ritari.
A looping hook to the body misses from McStoner. Ritari does a little dance to reset his feet.
McStoner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McStoner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McStoner sets himself, and Ritari steps forward looking for the clinch! McStoner avoids it this time.
McStoner misses with a straight left.
McStoner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ritari wants to clinch but McStoner slips to the side

and whilst Ritari still has his hands down, McStoner counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Ritari crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Ritari be able to survive another onslaught?
McStoner avoids a kick to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McStoner throws a looping overhand right but Ritari ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - McStoner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ritari gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ritari throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
McStoner lands a body shot.

Ritari tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

McStoner staggers Ritari with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Ritari looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ritari tries to land a leg kick but McStoner saw it coming and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Duke McStoner takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Teiden Ritari was lucky to get out of the first round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Ritari tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. McStoner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

McStoner moves forwards but Ritari connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and McStoner counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ritari's knee momentarily.

Ritari throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ritari throws a leg kick but McStoner sees it coming and checks it nicely.
It looked like McStoner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ritari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McStoner paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McStoner throws the left hand but Ritari avoids the punch easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ritari looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Duke McStoner is winning the standup battle so far.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ritari.
Ritari displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McStoner throws out the jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ritari fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McStoner, pushing him back against the ropes.
McStoner wants to break free but Ritari has control.
McStoner on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
McStoner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McStoner connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Ritari onto his butt! Ritari bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Ritari walks into a straight right hand and goes down! McStoner rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Ritari has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Ritari swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McStoner.
McStoner looks to score with a jab to the body but Ritari is just out of range.
A little jabbing left from Ritari on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ritari looks to clinch
and McStoner counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Ritari out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! McStoner is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Duke McStoner!
Our winner, Duke McStoner, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
