Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adi Dassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Syrowatka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Syrowatka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slash - Nothing to Say kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Adi Dassler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Artur Syrowatka! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Syrowatka scores with the left hand. Dassler knows he should have avoided that one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dassler. Left hook, right uppercut from Syrowatka.
It looks like Adi Dassler has been cut. Some wild striking there from Syrowatka.
Syrowatka throws a hook but Dassler avoids it easily. Dassler takes one to the side of the head.
Syrowatka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dassler half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A combination from Syrowatka does no damage. Syrowatka misses with a series of wild punches.
Dassler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Syrowatka.
Dassler slips a jab and a cross from Syrowatka.
That's one minute gone in the round. Syrowatka misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Syrowatka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dassler changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Syrowatka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Syrowatka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Syrowatka looks to land a left hand but Dassler moved out of range nicely. Dassler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Syrowatka.
Dassler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Syrowatka avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adi Dassler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dassler avoids the body shot from Syrowatka.
Dassler shoots for a takedown but Syrowatka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Artur Syrowatka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Syrowatka thows a left - swing and a miss! Syrowatka has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Syrowatka leaves Dassler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Syrowatka goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A swing and a miss from Syrowatka. Dassler looks for a takedown but Syrowatka sprawls well. Dassler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dassler gets the takedown into side control. Syrowatka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dassler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The strikes coming from Dassler are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dassler throwing shots but missing, from side control. Dassler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dassler throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Dassler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Syrowatka has escaped the position, nice work there. Dassler looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Syrowatka is avoiding damage well.
Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dassler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Syrowatka wants to control but Dassler postures up. Syrowatka is looking to reverse the position. Dassler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dassler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Syrowatka is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Syrowatka can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Syrowatka struggling a bit here. Dassler has hold of Syrowatka's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Syrowatka tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dassler cranks the arm and Syrowatka screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Syrowatka, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
