Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Baroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Stripe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stripe's choice of entrance music: Captain Sensible - Happy Talk. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donald Baroni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kimbo Stripe! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baroni swings for the body but Stripe moves out of range.
Baroni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Baroni throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stripe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Stripe has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Baroni is landing a low percentage of strikes. Stripe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Stripe misses the jab. Baroni tries to land a leg kick but Stripe saw it coming and moves away.
Stripe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Baroni. Baroni swings widly with a right hand
and Stripe counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stripe cracks Baroni with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Baroni is rocked! Stripe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Oh Baroni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Baroni defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stripe. Stripe looks to land a left hand but Baroni moved out of range nicely. Stripe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baroni avoids it really well and circles away. Baroni seems to have got his legs back now. Stripe darts in looking for a takedown but Baroni gets double underhooks and turns Stripe into the cage. Donald Baroni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Stripe. Baroni scores with the left hand. Stripe knows he should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stripe ducks under a wild hook from Baroni.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stripe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baroni on the side of the head. The fighters circle momentarily. Baroni darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nice defenses there by Baroni. Donald Baroni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jab by Stripe. Stripe thows a left - swing and a miss! Baroni throws a shot from downtown. Stripe moves away and avoids it. Stripe looks like he wants to counter punch here. Baroni looks to score with a jab to the body but Stripe is just out of range. A right-left combo lands from Baroni. Baroni throws a shot from downtown. Stripe moves away and avoids it. Stripe drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Baroni defends it well. Baroni throws a jab but it's blocked by Stripe. Baroni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baroni just misses with a punch to the body.
Stripe changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Baroni throws a leg kick but Stripe moved away. Baroni pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stripe is out of range and Baroni settles back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stripe drives through and clinches with Baroni against the cage.
Stripe prevents Baroni from breaking the clinch. Stripe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baroni backwards. Stripe scores with a shot to the side of Baroni's head. Baroni escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stripe dodges the punch combination from Baroni.
Baroni swings for the body but Stripe moves out of range.
Baroni throws a good cross that connects.
Baroni misses with an uppercut. Stripe saw that one coming. Baroni misses with a low kick. Baroni throws an overhand right that lands on Stripe's shoulder, as Stripe tries to avoid the shot. Baroni throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stripe walks into a stiff left hand from Baroni. Stripe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baroni's guard. Baroni trying to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baroni is looking to stand up but Stripe isn't so interested in that idea. Baroni working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stripe. Stripe throws a big right hand that misses. Stripe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Baroni tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stripe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stripe postures up in Baroni's guard and throws a big left but Baroni blocks it. Baroni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Baroni trying to keep a closed guard but Stripe is proving a slippery customer.
Stripe passes easily into side control. Nice work. Baroni sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stripe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baroni with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Baroni is trying to get back to full guard. Baroni is looking to control Stripe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baroni avoid being mounted? Stripe prevents Baroni from improving his position. Baroni trying to get back to full guard but Stripe takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! A nice elbow there by Stripe. Baroni tries to hold on but Stripe postures up. Stripe lands a big shot there that rocks Baroni but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kimbo Stripe will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Donald Baroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stripe drops Baroni with a big left hand and mounts him. Baroni is in big trouble! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baroni is wriggling around trying to escape.
Baroni tries to lock up and control but Stripe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stripe lands a big shot to the head and Baroni winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Kimbo Stripe! An out of breath Kimbo Stripe thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
