Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domilis Radys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Carroll! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Domilis Radys! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carroll throws out a loose jab but Radys uses good head movement to avoid it. A clash of legs there as Carroll blocks the low kick. Radys on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Radys throws a quick inside leg kick. Carroll looks to land a left hand but Radys moved out of range nicely. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Radys has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Radys turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Carroll throws a looping overhand right but Radys ducks down to avoid it. Carroll stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Radys closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carroll did well to prevent Radys getting side control. Carroll scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Radys manages to mount him!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Radys controlling from mount. It looks like Radys might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carroll slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carroll trying to control from the bottom.
Radys looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Carroll makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carroll. Radys showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Carroll looking for a sweep. Not yet Carroll, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Radys decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Radys blocks a head kick by Carroll.
Radys checks a leg kick. Radys is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carroll, as that shot connected.
Radys tries to close the distance and clinch but Carroll swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carroll is looking to counter with head kicks. Radys throws a series of punches but Carroll moves out of range. Carroll swings for the body but Radys moves out of range.
Carroll feints a jab promting Radys to slip. Carroll then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Radys slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Radys walks into a straight right hand from Carroll.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carroll throws a big shot that misses. Carroll is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Radys shoots for a takedown but Carroll saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carroll connects with a crisp jab. Radys slips a jab from Carroll. Carroll lands a jab to the head.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Carroll enables Radys to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carroll manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Radys tries to stand but Carroll is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Radys stays in close to Carroll's body and controls the position. Carroll not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Radys slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Carroll avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Radys stands up and waves to Carroll to follow him. Carroll misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Despite the aggression on Radys's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Radys tries to clinch up but Carroll circles away and keeps his distance. Carroll wants to clinch up but Radys keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Carroll dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Carroll misses with a head kick.
Carroll darts in trying to clinch and Radys counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Radys tries to stand but can't do so whilst Carroll controls his leg. Carroll moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Radys gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carroll throws a nice outside leg kick. Carroll misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carroll lands a body shot.
Carroll throws a head kick that Radys semi-blocks.
Carroll scores with a one two! Radys had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sean Carroll is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Radys gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Radys breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Radys closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Carroll scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Carroll drives through and clinches with Radys against the cage.
Carroll pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Radys keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carroll. Radys closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Radys decides to stand back up. Radys steps back and let's Carroll get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Carroll. Radys moves away from the strike by Carroll. Carroll lands with a hook. Radys tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Radys shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carroll napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Radys is looking to take a break and control but Carroll is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carroll is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Radys can do to turn this around? Radys decides to stand back up. Radys steps back and let's Carroll get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Carroll misses. Radys lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Radys has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carroll. Carroll gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Radys to score an easy takedown into full guard. Radys is stalling in the full guard. Radys throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Radys tries to stand but Carroll is controlling from the bottom. Carroll looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Radys has picked Carroll up and slammed him! Carroll can't keep hold of the triangle and Radys manages to pass to side control! Radys stands up and we're back to a striking position. Carroll will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Radys gets in close and instigates a clinch. Carroll is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Radys to keep the fight standing. Carroll breaks from the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sean Carroll will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Radys dives in and grabs Carroll's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carroll pushes down on Radys's head and hops out. Carroll looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Carroll throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Carroll is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Carroll takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carroll is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Radys still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Radys has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Radys remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carroll tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Radys wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Radys has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Radys throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Carroll fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Radys, pushing him back against the cage. Radys blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Carroll breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Carroll looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Carroll misses with a looping left. Radys lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Carroll has been working on his balance at Island Top Team, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Radys. Carroll attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Carroll ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Radys moves away. Carroll takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Carroll throws a low kick but Radys avoids it. Radys swinging wildly here.
Carroll will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Radys tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Carroll misses with a hook. Radys ducked under it nicely. Carroll throws a leg kick but Radys moved away. Radys throws a nice inside leg kick. Sean Carroll is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Radys shoots in looking for a takedown but Carroll manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Radys's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Radys swings away with a leg kick that misses. Carroll misses with a takedown attempt - Radys sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Radys has Carroll up against the cage in a clinch.
Radys escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Radys leaves Carroll with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Radys moves out of range of the leg kick from Carroll. Nice defenses there by Radys. Radys tries to clinch but Carroll moves out of range. Radys fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Carroll is out of range. Carroll cracks Radys with an open hand slap. Radys lands a head kick. Carroll smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Carroll misses with a head kick.
Radys is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Carroll misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carroll swings for the body but Radys moves out of range.
Domilis Radys has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carroll moves out of range as Radys throws a body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carroll ducks under a wild hook from Radys.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean Carroll. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carroll, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
