Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lenny Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David McSwizzer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon lands with a straight right. McSwizzer didn't see that one coming.
Gordon throws a lazy right hand but McSwizzer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McSwizzer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Lenny Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Gordon misses.
McSwizzer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gordon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gordon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McSwizzer is looking for the big counter here.

As Gordon backs off McSwizzer throws a huge counter combo but Gordon manages to avoid it all.
Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and McSwizzer counters with a stiff right hand.

McSwizzer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gordon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McSwizzer throws a series of punches but Gordon avoids them all with ease.
Gordon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but McSwizzer manages to circle out of the way.

Gordon throws the left hand but McSwizzer avoids the punch easily.
McSwizzer misses with an uppercut. Gordon saw that one coming.
Gordon tries to bum rush McSwizzer with a series of wild strikes but McSwizzer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gordon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McSwizzer manages to avoid it.
McSwizzer throws a series of punches but Gordon avoids them all with ease.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but McSwizzer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Despite the aggression on McSwizzer's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McSwizzer misses with the combination.
Gordon swings for the body but McSwizzer moves out of range.
McSwizzer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Gordon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gordon gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
McSwizzer avoids a wild elbow strike from Gordon.
McSwizzer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gordon has him pressed against the cage.
Gordon throws an elbow that misses.
Gordon has McSwizzer pressed against the cage, preventing McSwizzer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McSwizzer's coach down at Harambe Remembrance Hall was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McSwizzer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gordon lands a nice elbow.

That has opened up David McSwizzer's cut even more.
McSwizzer looks winded!
Gordon lands an elbow inside that McSwizzer shrugs off.

David McSwizzer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Gordon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Gordon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McSwizzer's elbow.
Gordon lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt McSwizzer or not.
