Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stan Hayes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Delgado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stan Hayes! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado gets caught flat footed, as Hayes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hayes wants to pass the guard but Delgado is keeping the position. Delgado wants to sweep but no luck. Hayes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delgado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hayes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Delgado throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hayes wants to get up but he can't break Delgado's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hayes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Delgado working for a triangle but Hayes defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayes stands up and waves to Delgado to follow him. Hayes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Delgado is looking for a sweep. Hayes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hayes stands up from half guard. Hayes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delgado sprawls well initially but Hayes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hayes prevents Delgado from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayes wants to stand up but Delgado has a hold of him and won't allow it. Delgado is trying to get back to full guard. Delgado is working hard here to advance position. Hayes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Delgado defends it well. Hayes not doing much here.
Hayes wants to free his trapped foot but Delgado is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hayes moves into the clinch successfully.
Hayes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hayes blocks the body kick.
Hayes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hayes scores with a takedown into Delgado's guard. Delgado is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hayes is controlling him. Delgado is breathing heavily. Delgado looking for a sweep. Not yet Delgado, not yet. Hayes sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delgado trying to control the position.
Hayes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Delgado is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Delgado looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hayes gets to his feet - Delgado follows without any prompting. Hayes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Delgado! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Hayes dominated that round. That's time! Delgado's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hayes darts in and clinches Delgado up against the cage. Delgado tries to pull guard but Hayes holds him up against the cage and eventually Delgado drops back down to his feet.
Hayes is trying to trip Delgado. He has hold of a leg but Delgado is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hayes persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hayes controls from within his opponent's guard. Hayes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Delgado taking some punishment here, with Hayes in his half guard. Hayes controlling the action here. Stan Hayes has got the better of the ground game so far. Delgado regains full guard. Nicely done. Delgado will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hayes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hayes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Delgado is keeping the position for now. Delgado is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Delgado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hayes's guard. Delgado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delgado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hayes manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Hayes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delgado sprawls well initially but Hayes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Hayes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayes is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hayes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hayes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Delgado can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hayes looking to control and managing it successfully. Delgado is looking to get to half guard. Hayes working for a submission but Delgado is keeping him at bay. Delgado is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delgado is trying desperately to improve position. Hayes looking to control and managing it successfully. Hayes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hayes gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Hayes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hayes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hayes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Delgado moves away. Hayes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hayes lands in his opponent's guard. Hayes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hayes controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Delgado looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hayes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Delgado's head. Hayes scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Delgado looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hayes scoring with punches to the head and body. Hayes tries to free his leg and advance position but Delgado is retaining full guard. Hayes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Hayes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Hayes rushes Delgado and presses him up against the cage. Hayes lands a damaging elbow.
Delgado is rocked!
It looks like Eric Delgado has been cut. Hayes has Delgado pushed against the cage. Oh Delgado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hayes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hayes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hayes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Delgado is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hayes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Delgado's back instead. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Delgado seems to have got his legs back now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hayes scores with punches and elbows. Delgado wants to control his opponent's hands but Hayes gets his hands free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Hayes cracks Delgado with a big right hand from the back mount! Delgado immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Hayes takes this one by TKO!
