Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Otto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Otto! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Otto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Otto preventing the sweep. Otto missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Otto throwing strikes but missing. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Otto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Otto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head. Lee has momentary wrist control but Otto slips an elbow through the middle. Lee wants to sweep here but Otto controlling him for the moment. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee looking for a guillotine here but Otto defends easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Otto's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Otto postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow. Lee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Otto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head. Otto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lee pulls Otto in close to his closed guard and prevents Otto from doing any damage or advancing position. Lee is breathing heavily. Otto lands a couple of decent looking shots. Otto is in close to Lee's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lee is controlling Otto's posture. Otto lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Otto.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Otto throwing strikes but missing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Otto's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Otto throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Otto trying to strike off his back.
Lee sitting in guard, not really doing much. Lee wants to control from the top but Otto keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Otto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away. Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Otto circles away. Otto looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Otto passes into half guard. Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee. Lee working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Otto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Otto lands a couple of decent looking shots. Otto working some strikes from top position. Lee has his foot on Otto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Otto works his way back into a safe position though. Lee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Otto is in all sorts of trouble here.
BOOM! Lee connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Lee looking to control but Otto is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruno Otto dominated that round. That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Otto circles away. Otto swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Otto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Otto has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a shoot takedown. Otto fights it but they end up in guard. Lee passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Bruno Otto has got the better of the ground game so far. Otto is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Otto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee controlling the pace for now. Lee trying to control but Otto is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Otto can do anything to dispel that myth. Otto working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee trying to control but Otto is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Otto is trying desperately to improve position. Lee trying to control but Otto is having none of it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Danny Lee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Otto. Lee taking a bit of punishment here - Otto scoring with strikes. Lee struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Otto working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Lee has hold of Otto's hands but Otto slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lee trying to control but Otto postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Otto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lee wants to control but Otto is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Otto fails with the takedown and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Otto's guard now. Danny Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Otto. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Otto lands a good elbow from the bottom. Otto throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Otto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lee counters with a shoot takedown. Otto fights it but they end up in guard. Lee passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lee content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Otto for as long as he can get away with. Lee is looking to take a break and control but Otto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Otto has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lee wants to control but Otto is keeping him busy. Lee tries to pass to full mount but Otto defends it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Otto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Otto lands in his opponent's guard. Otto missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lee striking off his back but it's not causing Otto any problems. Otto cracks Lee with a solid left hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee looking to control.
Otto with a flurry of punches that miss. Lee lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Otto! Lee wants to control the pace but Otto is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Lee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
