Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Errol Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Ray looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Errol Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Ray! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes clinches with his opponent.
Ray tries to break free but Hughes pushes him back against the cage. Hughes drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ray is trying to break the clinch but Hughes is controlling him. Hughes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ray is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hughes prevents Ray from breaking the clinch. Ray is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hughes is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ray to the mat. Ray regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hughes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ray motions for Hughes to come forward. Ray throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ray tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hughes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ray throws a leg kick but Hughes sees it coming and checks it nicely. Dan Ray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hughes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ray tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Hughes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hughes is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hughes extends the arm and Ray is forced to tap!
