Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Burle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ding Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ding Ling has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Burle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ding Ling! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Burle is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ling is defending well. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ling. Ling breaks the clinch.
Burle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burle lands in his opponent's guard. Burle postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ling is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ling is trying to control the position but Burle postures up. Ling wants to stand but Burle is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ling is trying to control the position but Burle postures up. Burle is stalling in the full guard. Burle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ling manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burle has Ling in his guard. Ling being controlled here momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Burle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ling's guard. Burle is looking to work some ground and pound but Ling has wrist control. Burle is in close to Ling's body, working some short punches and elbows. Burle is stalling in the full guard. Burle is fighting to break Ling's control of his arms but Ling is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ling is looking to stand up but Burle isn't so interested in that idea. Burle is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ling is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ling has escaped and now he's on top! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burle is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Burle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burle being controlled here momentarily. Burle throws a big right hand that misses. Ling avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Burle trying to control the position from guard on top but Ling is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Burle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Burle with a flurry of punches that miss. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Burle dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nice takedown defense from Ling. No joy for Burle on that attempt. Ding Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ling but Ling pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ling fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Burle to the ground. Ling is now in Burle's guard. Burle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ling. Burle looking for a guillotine here but Ling defends easily.

Ling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ling wanted to stand there but Burle had control of the position.

Burle throws a strike but Ling rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Burle working for a triangle but Ling defends it easily.
Burle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ling gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ling can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ling is fighting to break Burle's control of his arms but Burle is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Burle is looking to sweep but instead, Ling has passed into half guard.
Burle is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. It looks like Ling is going to stand back up.
Ling missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ling is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Burle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ling. Ling wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ding Ling will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Burle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Burle takes a kick to the side of the head. Ling cracks Burle with a good jab. Ling gets caught napping as Burle dives in and scores a takedown. Ling manages to retain guard. Ling has his feet on Burle's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Burle gets tackled into the cage by Ling. Ling maintains the clinch. Burle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ling pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ling manages to break the clinch.
Ling shoots in and bounces Burle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Burle seems keen to control Ling's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ling preventing the sweep. Burle wants to hit a switch here but Ling passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Burle there! Burle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Burle is looking to control Ling's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Burle avoid being mounted? Burle looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burle looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Burle misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Ling is going to stand back up.
Ling is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Burle defends it well. Burle wants to control but Ling is keeping busy and won't allow it. Burle gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burle is controlling Ling's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Burle enables Ling to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Burle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Burle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ling stacks Burle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ling! Burle is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ling's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burle is trying to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ding Ling comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ling has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
