Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Wu!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duncan avoids it really well and circles away.

Wu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duncan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wu pinned against the cage. Wu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Duncan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wu is trying to defend but Duncan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Duncan lands a nice short elbow.
Wu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Duncan is working away from the top position though.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Duncan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Duncan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Duncan rather than just go for the knockout.
Wu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Duncan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Duncan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wu's guard.

Well Duncan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
