With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sooner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duggan as he avoids it easily.
Sooner walks into a jab.
Sooner throws a series of punches but Duggan moves out of range.
Sooner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sooner misses with a two punch combination.
We've been informed that Duggan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Duggan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sooner.
Duggan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Duggan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Duggan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Duggan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Duggan looks up at the clock and then as Sooner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Duggan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sooner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duggan on the ground.

Duggan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Duggan is staying tight to Sooner's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Sooner looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duggan lands a big elbow - Sooner is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Sooner is forced to tap out!
