Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eleomar Cabbat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Eleomar Cabbat has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eleomar Cabbat seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eleomar Cabbat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dean Ellis! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cabbat circles away. Ellis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ellis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ellis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cabbat tries to kick Ellis off but Ellis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cabbat trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Cabbat is not content to let Ellis control the position. Ellis trying to pass the guard but Cabbat defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabbat looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ellis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cabbat does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A combination from Ellis does no damage. Ellis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dean Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ellis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ellis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Eleomar Cabbat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Ellis. Cabbat looks to land a combination but Ellis avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cabbat misses with a straight left. Cabbat takes a swing at Ellis's ribcage but misses. Cabbat throws a combination. Ellis tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ellis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ellis misses with a head kick.
Ellis shoots in and drives through. Cabbat sprawls well. Ellis looks gassed! Ellis forces Cabbat back against the cage and clinches. Cabbat is looking to break free of the clinch but Ellis has double underhooks. Ellis is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Cabbat wants to get back to striking at distance but Ellis won't allow it.
Cabbat breaks the clinch.
Ellis misses with a double jab
and Cabbat counters with a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ellis tries to clinch but Cabbat moves away and Cabbat counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Ellis! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Cabbat!
