Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Odoacer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Yakovlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Yakovlev's choice of entrance music: Maroon 5 - Sugar. Alexander Yakovlev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Flavius Odoacer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Yakovlev! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Odoacer as Yakovlev shoots in. Odoacer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Yakovlev misses with the body kick enabling Odoacer to counter with a crisp jab. Odoacer throws out a loose jab but Yakovlev uses good head movement to avoid it. We've been told by Odoacer's head coaches at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Yakovlev shoots in and drives through. Odoacer sprawls well. Yakovlev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Odoacer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Alexander Yakovlev has been cut. A head kick misses from Yakovlev. Odoacer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yakovlev on the side of the head. Yakovlev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Odoacer checks the leg kick. A jab lands there for Odoacer. Odoacer throws a lazy right hand but Yakovlev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A combination from Odoacer does no damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Odoacer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Odoacer clinches. Yakovlev wants to get back to striking at distance but Odoacer won't allow it.
Odoacer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Odoacer scores with a punch to the head. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odoacer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Odoacer misses with a hook. Yakovlev ducked under it nicely. Yakovlev scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Odoacer jabs Yakovlev to the body, keeping him at a distance. Odoacer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A jab from Odoacer misses. Yakovlev just misses with a punch to the body.
Yakovlev lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Odoacer throws a hook but Yakovlev blocks it. Yakovlev throws out a counter right but Odoacer avoids it with no problem. Odoacer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Yakovlev misses with a leg kick. Odoacer avoids the head kick by Yakovlev.
Odoacer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yakovlev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Odoacer connects with a crisp jab. Yakovlev lunges at Odoacer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Odoacer's hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yakovlev swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Odoacer. Yakovlev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Odoacer circles away. Flavius Odoacer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Yakovlev. Odoacer lands with a nice body punch. Odoacer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Yakovlev misses. Yakovlev throws a wild body kick that Odoacer sees coming a mile off. Odoacer throws a hook to the side of Yakovlev's head but Yakovlev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yakovlev swings widly with a right hand
and Odoacer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That has opened up Alexander Yakovlev's cut even more. Yakovlev misses with an uppercut. Odoacer saw that one coming. Yakovlev scores with a head kick. Odoacer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Yakovlev ducks under a wild hook from Odoacer. Nice uppercut there from Odoacer. Alexander Yakovlev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Odoacer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yakovlev. Odoacer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Odoacer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yakovlev doesn't seem bothered though. Yakovlev walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Yakovlev throws an off balance right hand
and Odoacer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Odoacer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yakovlev fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Yakovlev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Odoacer throws out the jab. Yakovlev tries to clinch up but Odoacer circles away and keeps his distance. Yakovlev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Odoacer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odoacer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Yakovlev misses with a takedown and Odoacer counters with a nice uppercut. Yakovlev misses with a hook
enabling Odoacer to counter with a crisp jab. Good exchange - Odoacer coming out on top.
Yakovlev is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Odoacer ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Yakovlev clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Flavius Odoacer! Flavius Odoacer very nearly forgot to thank Sun-Tzu amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. The defeated Alexander Yakovlev had this to say: 'I ll be back, as soon as possible'.
