Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudder bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chase sneaks out the side door and pushes Rudder away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Rudder really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rudder closes the distance and clinches.
Rudder is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chase is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rudder to the mat. Rudder regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Chase throwing strikes from guard but Rudder blocks nicely.
Chase postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rudder has momentary wrist control but Chase slips an elbow through the middle.
Chase works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Chase is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Chase is looking to advance position but Rudder won't allow it.
Chase thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Chase not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Rudder blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chase.
Rudder flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Chase sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rudder defending well though.
Chase is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Chase thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rudder's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rudder manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Chase trying to control the position from guard on top but Rudder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chase must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rudder is on top in guard.
Chase has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rudder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rudder stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Chase throws up his legs and catches Rudder in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Rudder tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Chase! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Charlee Chase!
After the fight, Charlee Chase was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
