Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Mont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mont has chosen el chapo the gane & skrillex as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leroy Patterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Mont! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Mont misses and Patterson counters with a three punch combo that has Mont backing up. Mont nods at Patterson to acknowledge the strikes. Mont will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Patterson circles away from the clinch attempt and Patterson counters with a takedown into side control. Patterson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mont rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Patterson's guard! Nice work there by Mont! Patterson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Patterson stops Mont from standing up. Mont has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Patterson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Mont misses with a body punch.
Mont pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mont closes the distance looking to clinch and Patterson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Patterson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Patterson won't allow Mont to get back to his feet. Patterson won't allow Mont to sweep him here. Patterson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Patterson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mont is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patterson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mont should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mont throws a left and a right that both miss
and Patterson counters with a two punch combo. Patterson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mont defends it nicely. Despite the aggression on Mont's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Patterson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mont circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Leroy Patterson has been cut. Scott Mont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mont swings for the body but Patterson moves out of range.
It looked like Patterson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Mont misses with a jab, cross combination.
As Mont looks to move away, Patterson throws a big counter combo but Mont just gets out of the way. Mont punishes Patterson's body with a nice straight punch. Mont lands with a kick to the temple. Patterson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Patterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mont looks winded! Mont decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Patterson looking for submissions off his back. Mont is just content to waste time from the top position. Patterson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mont avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mont trying to move into half guard but instead Patterson has managed to sweep! Mont wants to stand and escape but Patterson is having none of it. Patterson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Patterson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mont works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Patterson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Patterson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A low kick from Mont misses and Patterson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mont's guard. Mont is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Patterson is controlling him. Leroy Patterson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mont is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Patterson wants to pass the guard but Mont is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patterson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Patterson stops Mont from standing up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mont tries a head kick but it misses.
Mont is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Patterson is looking to counter the offense by Mont and move into the clinch. Mont throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Patterson. Mont shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patterson sprawls well. Patterson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mont gets slowly back to his feet. Mont is breathing heavily.

Mont is defending well for now. Mont's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Patterson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. A punch combination from Mont misses. Mont throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Patterson is looking to counter the offense by Mont and move into the clinch. Patterson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Patterson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mont keeps control of Patterson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mont wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Patterson has him pressed against the cage. Patterson manages to break the clinch.

The ref makes him back up and allows Mont to get to his feet. Mont throws a body punch but Patterson moves out of range. Patterson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mont. Leroy Patterson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Patterson moves into the clinch.

Patterson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Patterson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Patterson postures up and lands a big shot to Mont's brow. Scott Mont has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leroy Patterson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Patterson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Leroy Patterson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Patterson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
