Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Smith Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesson comes into the arena with Bodies blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Smith Wesson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Mercer!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercer scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mercer throws a shot to the body.
Wesson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danga de danga de dang - Mercer scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Smith Wesson has been cut.
Mercer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mercer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mercer scores with a body shot.
Wesson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wesson misses with an uppercut. Mercer saw that one coming.
Mercer stuns Wesson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wesson throws a sloppy head kick and Mercer moves out of range easily.
Wesson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smith Wesson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wesson is breathing heavily.
Mercer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mercer looks to land a combination. Wesson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mercer.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mercer.
Wesson walks into a straight right hand from Mercer.
Smith Wesson's cut is getting worse.
A jab-cross combination lands for Mercer and sends Wesson crashing to the mat! Mercer follows him down to the mat - Wesson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Wesson is rocked!
Mercer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Oh Wesson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mercer throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Wesson colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Mercer as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Wesson is left battered and dazed whilst Mercer and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Mercer!
