Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnathan Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson wants to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Johnson.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Conway but Conway pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson shoots in but Conway avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Conway changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Conway's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Johnson jumps into guard, dragging Conway to the mat.

Conway drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Conway off! Conway jumps back into Johnson's guard.

Johnson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Conway seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Conway walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Conway is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around?

Conway changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Johnson sneaks out the side door and pushes Conway away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

and Conway counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Conway is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johnson sees it coming and defends easily.

Conway is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Conway is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Conway eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Conway is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Conway has control of the leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
Johnathan Conway showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conway, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
