Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Sklemin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinbad Baba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baba has chosen King of Seven Seas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sinbad Baba has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sergey Sklemin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Sklemin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sinbad Baba! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sklemin misses with a looping left. Baba slips under a jab from Sklemin. Baba let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Baba lands a two punch combo.
Sklemin misses with an uppercut. Baba slips under a jab. Baba takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sklemin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Baba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sklemin throws a jab when Baba was well out of range. Baba takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A left and a right from Baba both land. Nice combination. Sklemin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sklemin. Baba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sklemin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baba momentarily.
Baba throws out a loose jab but Sklemin uses good head movement to avoid it. Sklemin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Some wild striking there from Baba.
Sklemin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baba connects with a nice looking jab.
Baba moves forwards but Sklemin connects with a nice, crisp jab. Baba throws a series of punches but Sklemin avoids them all with ease. Sklemin misses with a wild body shot. Sklemin fails to land with a series of punches.
It seemed like Baba was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sklemin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sklemin is rocked! Sklemin throws an off balance right hand
and Baba finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Oh Sklemin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jab, jab by Sklemin - just one landing. Baba misses with a straight right. Sklemin seems to have got his legs back now. Baba moves away from the strike by Sklemin. Baba slips a jab and a cross from Sklemin.
Sklemin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Baba has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baba takes a swing at Sklemin's ribcage but misses. Baba comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Baba misses with a hook
and Sklemin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Baba displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sklemin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baba.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sklemin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sklemin misses with a double jab.
Sklemin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Baba doesn't seem bothered though. An inside leg kick lands from Baba. Baba takes one to the side of the head.

and Baba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sklemin fails to land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Sklemin. Sklemin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sklemin thuds a left hand into Baba's body. A slow jab from Sklemin misses its intended target. Baba flicks out a counter leg kick but Sklemin steps away. Baba scores with a jab to the body. Sklemin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baba. and Baba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sklemin lands a really nice looking cross but Baba seems unphased.

and Baba counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Sklemin to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Baba!
